This gated community is located three miles north of Rutherfordton, NC, fourteen miles east of Lake Lure, NC, with residential lots measuring between one and six acres. The location offers home sites with mountain views, water frontage, wooded privacy, and a rural flavor with convenience to towns both large and small. Homes are on individual wells & septic systems and there's no requirement to maintain unimproved lots. Street names include Clearwater Parkway, Moonlight Pass, North Dakota, South Dakota, Desota Ridge, Chimney Creek Lane, Creekside Circle, Woodstock Dr, Bitterroot Circle, and Overstone Dr.
Clearwater Creek features two gated entrances, offers paved roads throughout and consists of 406 residential parcels. Light restrictions include no mobile homes, no unlicensed vehicles and a 1,200 sq. ft. minimum home when building. Annual dues of $368 maintain the paved roads and common areas. Horses and grazing animals are welcome. There are no club houses, tennis courts, pools, etc. in this community, although there is a common area park.
